Description
My poor little cat, Princess, who I've had since I was four, was attacked by two dogs.
I was in Queensland at the time.
My mother was home taking care of her while I was gone.
She had to work, but decided not to due to floods.
So she sat on the couch eating lunch, as she heard dogs wrestling and..Noises cats make when they're pissed.
She thought it sounded like it were coming from her backyard so she went out to the backyard to find two small dogs with my cat in their mouths, trying to rip her apart.
She had to yell at them and chase them off, and they tried to come back a few times.
My cat ran off inside under my mum's bed. Eventually got ON the bed somehow and bled all over it. Then came out and disappeared for 3 days. She eventually came back today, and actually DRAGGED herself in the door.
Her claws have been ripped out, due to crying to scratch those dogs and she has those two wounds there that actually haven't dried up in 4 days. I don't know how it is now because I had to leave her in the vet over night. But when I visited her later this after noon it was still oozy.
I actually cried in a Chinese restaurant while she was missing, and a waiter snickered at me. So I threw my hot Chinese tea on his crotch and left. Own.
I felt sad for her, she wouldn't eat only sat there like this photo with her wounds facing up, drinking a HEAP of water.
I put her in a basket. I knew she was REALLY hurt because usually she'd just jump straight out, but she just laid there and moaned in pain.
The vet checked her out and wrapped her up in a towel to take her to get stitches and medical crap. (Totally NOT a doctor, I ain't.)
And my visit to her, was so amazing. Got out of the car and some horse sounded like a car was being shoved up it's ass. She was /so/ much better when I visited her. I giggled, too. They shaved her where the wound was (like I thought they would) and she looks funny Dx I'm used to her hair going all over the house..So at least now I know there won't be as much..But it'll be funny to watch the hair grow back again.
Then there was this dog in the cage room, too. Zeke, his name was. He kept whistling in his nose when he breathed and shaking when he breathed out. Then howled and all. I felt sorry for him but I have no fricking idea who he is >.<
So, I'll be picking her up tomorrow and nursing her alone at home .__.
